HDNA takes the recent advice on the COVID_19 (Corona Virus) very seriously and in consultation with current health warnings from both the Australian Government, Queensland Health in conjunction with Netball Queensland have enacted the following plan during our upcoming carnival. We advised any person wishing to attend the carnival to consult and make a informed decision about their attendance

Queensland Health

The following measures have been introduced for your safety during the upcoming Interdistrict Carnival.

At the conclusion of games we would ask players not to shake hands or hug. We suggest a wave or nod.

We would ask all teams not to conduct team huddles.

Don't not take team photos or group selfies.

That the game balls provided stay on that court and are to be placed in the containers provided that have been filled with disinfectant.

Do not share water bottles, food, sunscreen, lip balm or towels.

Please wash your hands frequently and use the hand sanitation stations provided around the grounds.

Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth

Practice respiratory hygiene. This means covering your mouth and nose with your bent elbow or tissue when you cough or sneeze. Dispose of the tissue safely after use.

Please do not spit or leave gum in any part of the complex.

If you have flu like symptoms fever, cough or difficulty breathing we ask you not to come to the event.

If you are 60+ or if you have an underlying medical condition such as:
Cardiovascular Disease
Respiratory condition
We would advise you to reconsider your attendance to the carnival.

We will make running health announcements during the event and our canteens will be running with altered service arrangements as per the advice we have received.

If you are sick, have recently been overseas or believe you have come into contact with a person you believe to possibly be infected we ask you not to attend the carnival in the interest of public safety.

HDNA thank you in advance for your help in adhering to these restrictions
